Very helpful. I was trying to figure out what my run this morning would not upload.

I just came on to report this after numerous attempts to sign in today.

I'm back again as of today and bought my Swagbag for 1 year. And now I thought I was failing at the MFA. But apparently it's a global problem.

Hmm, why don’t you just Email everyone when there is a problem like this.  I’ve spent hours deleting RunGap, reinstalling, setting up again, searching the web to see if there is a problem.  Only found out after Emailing RunGap support.  Think I’ll do this first next time.

    Hope you fix it soon.

It’s a shame Garmin keeps updating their API so often.

@ray You can follow announcements to receive emails whenever there’s a problem. It works well for me.

    Yes really annoying.

I also hope for a quick fix.

Swag bag was newly purchased and is ready to be used :)

I subscribed today, but after seeing that Garmin doesn't support it, I wanted a refund. I hope it gets processed quickly.

    @HansolJung

Garmin DOES support it - just be patient.

Weirdly, my apple watch data syncs to garmin and then to strava. Obviously rungap to garmin isn't working, yet my workouts are in strava at the moment and i have no idea how they got there.

@Enwezor you must have the direct Garmin Strava link setup. This works fine if you want to push every Garmin to Strava. Recently I only want certain activities going to Strava so I now use RunGap for this.

I would be informed, if there is any possibility to synchronize the activities with their segments to Garmin Connect. It would be very helpful, if by exporting an interval-exercise - for which I use YouRace app on my AWU - there would be a possibility to analyze the each segments in Garmin.

    Thank you, best regards,

    Koppány

@HansolJung It works great and Kristian is usually very responsive. Just bear in mind it takes a bit of time to be fixed, pushed to the AppStore before it becomes available. I believe that last time this happened, it was fixed in 48-72 hours max.

Yes I love RunGap and don't mind waiting for a fix.

Come on, guys. Don't be so hard on the programmers. I think they're working pretty hard on it. And it's not the end of the world if your workouts show up on Garmin a few days late. I'm pretty sure they'll show up eventually.
    Just chill!

Hi! I know this isn't the perfect place for this question, but I was attempting to purchase RunGap yesterday for a specific use case and was unable to due to the outage. BUT while I have you, I'm curious if this use case is actually one that RunGap would be good for? I have recently purchased a Garmin to replace my AppleWatch. I still have an iPhone and I use an Oura Ring as well. I want to use my Garmin to record activities and then I want those workouts to push to Oura to be part of my overall wellness profile.

Garmin has been so inconsistent sending workouts to Apple Health directly (which Oura would get the workouts from). There are days when I worked out (data is in Connect) but the data doesn't push to Apple Health. There are days when I have three recorded workouts in Connect but only one shows up in Apple Health. Very random and inconsistent.

Would RunGap help me to reliably send my Garmin workouts to Apple Health?

I centralize on Apple Health, running Apple watch data, Garmin Epix watch data, and Withings Scale - and tying it all back using RunGap.  Oh yeah - and I publish workouts to Strava.  So yes- RunGap helps do that.

Kaley, yes, this is what I use it for. I use RunGap to push workouts to Apple Health and then allow for Oura to read from Apple Health. RunGap does not read or write with Oura, so just a heads up there.

Technically you could just use Garmin Connect to do the push of workouts to Apple Health, but I find that to be hit and miss and often times delayed…And I appreciate the RunGap developer. The app is fantastic.

Thank you, Bryan! This is my exact use case (and I'm good with Oura collecting data from Apple Health). I am just finding my Garmin workouts aren't pushing consistently to Apple Health and it's making me crazy. Looking forward to the fix here and hopefully will be good to go!

    Well said @Thomas Schmidt!

Let’s get this minor inconvenience in perspective - it’s not Apple and all its developers working on this fix.
