How to fix Runkeeper login issues

RunKeeper recently changed the way logins to their website is handled which broke the integration with RunGap. The problem has already been fixed in the most recent version 2.17.1 the App Store.

If you are still having issues after updating the app to version 2.17.1 then you might have an ASICS account with a different password than the one that you are using in RunGap and the RunKeeper app.

If this is the case then please log on to https://www.asics.com/us/en-us/login and change the password to match the one that you are using in the RunKeeper app.

It is important that these are the same because RunGap will need to log in using both methods.

Is this an Android fix? Because I’m still having the issue with my iPhone.

Me too. Running iOS RunGap version 2.52. I verified that the asics.com password matches the runkeeper.com password.

This is not working for me. I've got the latest version of RunGap and only one password in my ASICS and Runkeeper accounts.

I’m in the same boat as Eloy. I’m running Version 2.56 on iOS 14.0.1 and I’ve made sure that my RunKeeper and ASICS accounts have the same login credentials. However, anytime I try to reconnect my RunKeeper account in RunGap, I keep getting the “RunKeeper login failed! Please check your credentials and try again.” error message.

Same here, 2.56 on iOS 14.0.1. I've actually noticed that no activity has been synchronised to RunKeeper since June.

Same here, 2.56 on iOS 14.0.1. My last sync was 10th October.

I tried forgetting and re-entering email and password, but that gave the same credentials error. BTW, it would be nice to have a set updated password option for each account.

I've noticed that there's a new RunGap version now, that supposedly fixes the issue caused by RunKeeper.

In the meantime, as I've had many other issues with RunKeeper recently, I decided to migrate 4000+ activities from up to 2010 to Endomondo. RunGap made it feel like a breeze. Took 3-4 hours to sync, but now I've deleted RunKeeper and am happy using Endomondo 🙂

Yes. The issue has just been fixed (for the time being) in version 2.57. Please see: FIXED: RunKeeper integration broken again. Sigh.
