iOS 11 Update

At WWDC 2017 Apple finally announced that the upcoming iOS11 will allow developers to access workout routes via HealthKit. It is planned to add both importing and exporting routes  via HealthKit to RunGap as soon as possible

    iOS 11 is pretty close, I imagine you'll start testing iOS 11 features pretty soon, like this one as it's already available in the beta, workouts saved to HK now contain the recorded track. If you need iOS 11 testers, let me know how I can register as a tester.

    Alex, I'm using the iOS 11 beta (dev 7) as well. Where did you see that map above? Using the Workout app itself?

    Patrick, no. It's in Health.

    Thanks Alex. I found it after you pointed me in the right direction.

    I think it’s only available using the Apple Workout app. Don’t see it when using Runkeeper or other third party apps

    Yeah, because workouts is the only one that writes the track to Health at this point. After more apps adopt the iOS 11 Apis, more apps will write it. Including RunGap here, should be able to write an read the gps track.
